Here are the pics of the front and back ~
I'm debating whether to throw it in the washer for that crinkle effect that everyone seems to love. Aside from my Christmas tree skirt (that I didn't wash), this is really the first quilt that I've done. All in all, I feel really good about this finish!
Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts for finish it Friday!

So pretty!! I LOVE pinwheels! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI love it! The combo of pinwheels and little squares is great :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a lovely finish, Georgi! Your colour choices are awesome. And I am a big fan of pinwheels. Very sweet and pretty quilt!
ReplyDeleteThanks all for your wonderful comments!
ReplyDeleteGeorgi, what a fantastic first quilt! Both front and back look great. I love that color scheme. I'm also a fan of the crinkles: I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cari! I don't know why I'm so nervous about washing it ~ guess it's just because it's my first!
DeleteThis project turned out so cute! I just started quilting last year and I completely understand your reluctance to wash it the first time. I was terrified mine would completely come apart but it didn't and I love the crinkled look.
ReplyDeleteDiana ~ thanks for the input! I'm gonna give it a try tomorrow (I think!) Fingers crossed!
