Off to a good start this year! The Flowerclub table topper is finished already. It was a nice change doing some paper-piecing and it came together pretty quickly.
Quilting on it was my usual straight-line walking foot quilting. Even though it's simple, I love the look ~ and since we moved out west, I find I'm drawn to more of a Southwest color pallette!
I debated on what to use as a backing, but I came across this Southwestern print at Hobby Lobby with all the right colors that I thought was perfect for the backing and the binding!
So I can check this finish off my list ~ I may even have another finish before the end of this quarter. Fingers crossed!!
That is gorgeous! THose flowers would look great in any number of layouts as well!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much ~ it was really a fun project!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, lovely colors on this!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Judy! I still had some of the Toscana fabrics left from my Chocolatier quilt and I thought they'd be perfect. :)
